1. 2015 World Radiocommunication Conference (WRC-15) approves 60m band.

WRC 2015 has approved an allocation of 5351.5-5366.5 kHz to the Amateur Service on a secondary basis
with a power limit of 15 W effective isotropic radiated power (EIRP). 
The November 18 decision on Agenda Item 1.4 was adopted on two back-to-back readings.

1. Jim Dean VE3IQ (SK) and Hoppy Hopwood VE7RD appointed to the Canadian Amateur Radio Hall of Fame

The Board of Trustees is pleased to appoint Jim Dean VE3IQ (SK) of Ottawa, ON and 
Farrell (Hoppy) Hopwood VE7RD of North Vancouver, BC to the Hall of Fame for 2015. 
The awards will be presented at local ceremonies in coming months.

1. IARU Administrative Council Stresses Importance of Antenna Systems for Amateur Radio

The International Amateur Radio Union (IARU) Administrative Council has adopted a resolution
calling on IARU member societies to encourage governments to recognize the importance of the
