Joe was a proud member of the Canadian Armed Forces serving for almost 34 years before retiring in 1985. He settled in North Bay, ON where he enjoyed a long retirement. He was very involved in his community. He was a long-time member of the North Bay Cardiac Fitness Club, the Royal Canadian Legion, and the Amateur Radio Club. He loved talking with people on his ham radio and enjoyed travelling throughout Canada visiting family and friends. In lieu of flowers, we ask you to honour his memory through acts of kindness.
