The NBARC January meeting was held Wednesday January 13th 2010. Sorry it has taken me so long to get this newsletter out but between work and being laid up for a while I finally got a chance. In attendance were VA3SPT, VA3BDR, VA3PC, VE3MAA, VE3YO, VE3YYB, VA3OZ, VA3WAC, VE3GMG, VE3XKB and VE3KAA. Bill VA3SPT welcomed everyone to the first meeting of 2010. From the correspondence file we received a cheque from the Kiwanis Club for our help at the 2009 Triathalon. The HAITI Earthquake was mentioned. the main frequencies you can probably hear from here are 14.265 and 14.300.
Paul, VA3PC has completed the Draft Constitution and Bylaws and posted them on the website. They are listed under Archive/Documentation. Please give them a quick read before the meeting this Wednesday Jan 13th.

Yes, we launched www.radioheritage.net back on December 26 2004 and
it's now grown to rank almost in the top 1 million websites in the
world.......and we've only scratched the surface, giving some free
tastes of what connects popular culture, nostalgia and radio heritage.
The November NBARC meeting was held Wednesday November 11, 2009. In attendance were VA3BDR, VA3PC, VE3MAF, VE3MAA, VE3XKB, VE3YO, VE3KAA, VE3SCN, VA3WAC and a guest Steve Hutchinson. 1) Paul VA3PC mentioned that Dean Bottrell VE3NHT from Port Loring is a Silent Key. 2) Bob Taylor VE3YS and Bud Pearce VE3JHI are under the weather. We wish them well. 3) RAC: Paul read a couple of notes from RAC regarding leadership changes at HQ. He has posted them on the website. 4) NETS: 80M net is having about 10-12 check-ins. 5) ARES: Nothing really to report. The trailer is parked back at my place.
It is my sad duty to report the passing of: William Cecil Kitto KITTO, Rev. Dr. William Cecil - Peacefully on Tuesday October 13th, 2009, in North Bay, Ontario, in his 99th year. Bill was predeceased by Thelma, his wife of 68 years. He was the loving father of Barbara Babcock and her husband John of Wiarton, and of Rick Kitto and his wife Susan of London. He will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren, Andy Pugliesi, of New Orleans, Carl Pugliesi and his wife Aileen of Owen Sound, Karen Kitto and her husband Mike Collins of Chicago, and Rob Kitto, of London.

Repeaters: appears that NBC-15 is off the air.
