Mattawa River Canoe Race

Body:

A few question have been asked:

Do you need someone at the start of the race at 7:00am to collect the number of boats and the numbers or will the numbers be transmitted to the finish?

We won't need to be at the start, all information that we need will be brought to each check point by the Conservation staff.

Where and when are we meeting this year to start the day???

 Hi Folks
I know that we have not finished with the Lost in the Rocks and Trees yet, but we have another event on the horizon.
The Mattawa River Canoe race is the following weekend July 24th.

I will need volunteers for this event as well  8-)
So far on the list: VA3DLJ, VE3GMG, VA3BDR, VE3YUI andVA3SPT

This is a very challenging and fun event (What other event have we had to stop 3 speeding police cars with lights flashing in split seconds.... 8-)   )

 Hi Folks

The Lost in the Rock and Trees bike race is just a week away.

We could use a few more bodies to help out.... a few more radio operator and a few helpers for the check points and start and finish.
So far on my list is VA3PC, VE3GMG, VA3BDR, KD8LWV, VA3SK, Keegan & Trevor.
We have been requested to provide a 5th check point if we have the bodies.
But to do this I need a few more people.

If you are helping out I need your tee shirt sizes ASAP, I would like to send them to Nick tonight.
