Called to order at 1931ET
New Hams: nil
Treaasurer: $4350.00 in bank. The $100.00 Cheque to Kelly is on hold until the fall to see if there will be enough interest in a high altitude balloon project.
Correspondance: Received official request for North Bay Triathlon July 1, 2018. Moved Lori, Second Jerry. Carried.
Received official request for Mattawa Canoe Race July 28, 2018. Moved Dan. Seconded Howard. Carried.
Events: Lori gave a report on The Hike for Hospice. Communications worked well. Officially there were 392 participants. Planning for shovels in the ground in June 2018.
Repeaters: APRS is back on line. TNC had gone into non-kiss mode. The time has been updated on both repeaters. The VE3NFM building really needs paint. Possibly May 26th. More to follow.
RAC: Paul requested a corrected insurance certificate. Industry Canada updated list of frequencies. Main change is 60M band. 15kHz at 100W. Effective in the near future.
Contest Club: nil
Old Business: Field Day June 23rd, 24th 2018. Still in the planning stage. Approximately 8 interested. More to follow.
ARES: CANWARN not here this year. Should be next year.
