1. CANWARN Training, May 8
CANWARN training will be offered  for Ottawa on Saturday, May 8th, 9
a.m., at the Kanata Legion, 70 Hines Road, in Kanata.

2. Smiths Falls Flea Market
The Rideau Lakes Amateur Radio Club will hold its flea market on
Saturday, May 8, at the Smiths Falls Youth Arena, behind the
Community Centre, at the corner of Cornelia St. (highway #43) and
Elmsley St. in Smiths Falls.  Open to the public at 9 a.m.; talk-in
on VE3RLR repeater, 147.21 (+).  For more information visit

3. ARRL Code Practice and Bulletins on Echolink
W1AW's CW code practices and CW/digital bulletins are now available
using EchoLink via the W1AW Conference Server W1AWBDCT. The audio is
sent in real-time following W1AW's regular transmission schedule.
This is an experimental server, currently limited to 350
connections.  All users who connect are muted; and please do not send
comments via the Echolink text window.  For the schedule, visit

4. Contest Calendar Upgraded
Bruce WA7BNM has upgraded  his online Contest Calendar website,
www.hornucopia.com/contestcal.  There are more ways of viewing
contests, such as the very useful 8-day contest chart and graphic of
when the contests run.  You can also customize the site for the
contests you want to follow, and output iCal for your personal
calendars.
