FARLINGER, Dr. Fraser Alexander - Passed away at the North Bay General Hospital on Sunday, June 26, 2005 in his 83rd year. Fraser was the cherished husband and best friend of Alice Brillon Bond. Loving father of Arlene Primrose (Brian), Barbara Snedden (Ken), Gordon Farlinger and survived by their mother Lois, all of New Liskeard. Loving stepfather of Ward Bond (Carol) of Collingwood, Kathryn Roberts (James) of Cookstown and Jonathan Bond (Tamara) of Kenora. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Ryan, Kimberley, Sarah, Alex, Stephanie, Charlie, Nathan and Avery. Fraser was predeceased by his parents Dr. A.C. Farlinger and the former Sara J. McCorquodale, also by his brother Don survived by his wife Diane. Dear brother of Mary Rowe and Jane Reeves (Bob). Dr. Farlinger graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University in 1948. He practiced medicine in New Liskeard for 28 years and moved to North Bay in 1975 to work at the North Bay General Hospital as an Anaesthetist until his retirement in 1988. Friends may call at the MARTYN FUNERAL HOME on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Services will be held from the Calvin Presbyterian Church on Thursday, June 30th, at 2 p.m. Cremation with interment of ashes in New Liskeard. If desired, donations to the North Bay General Hospital Foundation would be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
