Hi Receive this from Nick...Comments?"Good Morning Jen, Tzach, Glenn and BillWe have come into a bind with organizing the 2013 LTR. Due to the powers that be in Southern Ontario scheduling a major bike race in Barrie on the same day we normally do our race, we have been asked to pick a different weekend.
The van is full for this years York Regional Hamfest this coming Saturday November 3rd 2012. Going are VE3MAF, VA3BDR, VE3GMG, VE3XKB, vA3WAC, VA3PC.
Don't forget to set your clocks BACK Saturday before you go to bed or you will be an hour early for church or work as the case may be.

The Hospital Walk / Run Takes place this Sunday October 14 at The North Bay Regional Hospitals.
We could use a few more volunteer.
So far on the list is: VE3LOR, , VE3YO, VA3SPT, V3TGI, VA3CMX
This is a half day event that covers a lot of ground. I could probably use 12 to 16 radio operators to cover all the events. But we will work with what we have and cover the higher priority trails.
So if you can can come out to help on Sunday morning please let me know ASAP.
I ask that everyone to helping out be on site by 08:30 hrs Sunday morning.
Nature's Harmony Run off the Grid is this coming Saturday in Mattawa. So far we have 4 hams to run the event. We need at least 2 and better still 4 more to make the event run well. We will be leaving THD on Seymour at 0700ET Saturday to be at Nature's Harmony by 0800ET. Bill VA3SPT is under the weather so won't be available. If you can come please let either Chris va3cmx@gmail.com or myself ve3maf@gmail.com know. If you want a t-shirt I need to know your t-shirt size by tomorrow (Wednesday) so I can tell Tazch.
Well our annual multi-day event is over!
Thanks to Bruce VA3BDR, Chris VA3CMX, Howard VE3GMG, Drew VE3MAF, and Dan VE3YUI we had all the help we needed for the three days of the festival. Also to Wanda VE3KOJ for the use of her cellphone, and Evelyn VE3MAA who assisted with the setup earlier in the week.
Friday was a typical festival day with minor issues and lots of traffic back and forth between all parties.
I would like to thank everyone who helped out with the Mattawa River Canoe Race.
Once again we had a wonderful time and the event was almost prefect... Just a few radio problem with my gear but as usually we were able to plan b,c,d and e it and all worked out in the end.
Thanks to the following for being there, it was a pleasure to work with you.
Betty Silver, Howard VE3GMG, Bernie VA3STX, Bruce VA3BDR, Paul VA3PC, Drew VE3MAF, Chris VA3CMX
