2026 NBMCA Canoe Race

We have been asked to assist with communications for the 2026 Canoe Race.
It is scheduled for June 13, 2026
If you wish to help out, please contact me and we'll slot you in.
As always there will be 3 checkpoints plus the finish line.
We will be tracking the canoe/kayak/stand up paddleboard numbers, and the time they arrive at the checkpoints.
Checkpoint 1 will get to go home early, it has road access (Pine Lake Road Portage)
Checkpoint 2 canoe access. (Pimisi Bay)
Checkpoint 3 road access (Samuel de Champlain Prov Park - access pass provided)
Finish Line (Mattawa Island Conservation Area)

There will be the full race event (North Bay Olmstead Beach to Mattawa), and
the Family Race event (Samuel de Champlain Prov Park to Mattawa)

We can do this with 4 volunteers, but a couple extra is always nice.
