FRASER, Leslie (Les) Howard Born October 17, 1936 in Barrie, died January 17, 2013 in Toronto, peacefully in his 76th year, after a three year battle with cancer. Loving husband of Anne (nee Kennington) for 54 years. Remembered by his children Cathy (Jules) Toth of Niagara Falls, Nancy (Mark) Mudford of Niagara Falls, Greg of Waterloo and Joanne (Ravi) Deshpande of Toronto, as well as by his seven grandchildren: Jamie, Dan, Kayla, Nevin, Nathan, Zachary and Simon. Also survived by brothers Allan and Maurice. Predeceased by brothers Walter, Bruce and Wallace and sisters Lorna and Jeanette. Les was an OPP officer for 32 years, serving in detachments in Midland, Niagara Falls, Kirkland Lake and Bracebridge. For the past 21 years, he and Anne lived on the shores of Commanda Lake in Restoule, where he fished, motorcycled and pursued his love of the outdoors. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W. MILES CHAPEL LIMITED, 1403 Bayview Avenue, Toronto, 1-800-616-3311, from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service in the chapel at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 20. Memorial service and interment will be held in the spring in Restoule, Ontario. If desired, donations may be made to St. Michael's Hospital Palliative Care Unit or the charity of your choice.
