2017 Triathlon - this Sunday

Afternoon folks;

The 2017 Kiwanis Triathlon is being held this Sunday at Olmstead Beach.

Note that the map is for the Adult Triathlon (the big event), and that the routing has changed since last year. Further note that the numbers '1' and '2' appear often on the map, and indicate the location of information signs that the Kiwanis Club are setting up to warn motorists. Our checkpoints are indicated in black text with yellow background as CP1, CP2, etc.

We have all checkpoints and other positions up for grabs:
BASE
MARINE (on the safety boat - need to bring your own PFD)
RACE DIRECTOR (paired with Nancy Birtch from the Kiwanis Club)
CHECKPOINT 1 - Hwy 63 and the far end of Anita Av
CHECKPOINT 2 - Hwy 63 and Peninsula
CHECKPOINT 3 - 800 meters west of the end of Northshore Rd
