Bob Meilleur VE3RRA passed away Monday February 18, 2013. Bob was 80.

MEILLEUR, Bob (Robert Alvin) - Peacefully passed away the morning of February 18, 2013 in his 80th year. He was surrounded by his loving family. Survived by his loving children Lynne Bailey (Dave) Niagara Falls, Laurie Meilleur-Hyndman (Craig), Rick Meilleur (Sandy) Toronto, Robbie Meilleur (Kay) St. Catharines and Kim Emerick (Jim) Selkirk. He was a proud and loving grandfather to Diana, Mitchell, Derek, Avery, Greer, Hudson, Kennedy, Christen, Ashley and Tyler and 2 great grand-children, Jaelyn and Adriah. Also survived by Sharon Meilleur. Bob worked for Ontario Hydro for 30 years, was Commodore of the North Bay Yacht Club, a member of the Ham Radio Club and the Lapidary Club of North Bay. He was also a Big Brother and a ski instructor at Laurentian Ski Hill. Bob was an accomplished woodworker crafting canoes and guitars for each of his children. At Bob's request, Cremation has already taken place. A celebration of his life will be held on Friday February 22, at 3 pm at HILLSIDE FUNERAL SERVCIES, 362 Airport Rd. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Aspen Valley Wildlife Sanctuary Cheques or on line donations at http://aspenvalley.ca/aspen/.
