I am looking for a 'reasonably' priced VHF SWL/Watt meter (Up to 1kW), and some 7/8 Heliax or larger (50' or more) with connectors.

I've had good luck with the G5RV, both locally and long distance. My vertical is OK for distant contacts but even then I am getting more gain out of the horizontal I feel.
